What is a smart repair franchise?
A smart repair franchise is a mobile business that repairs vehicle damage — windscreen chips, leather, vinyl, fabric and exterior trim — instead of replacing damaged parts. As a Glass & Trim Repair franchisee you receive the equipment, training, exclusive territory and ongoing support to deliver those repairs to dealerships, fleets and private owners.
What is included in the franchise package?
Your package includes specialist repair equipment, initial consumables, training, branded materials, safety equipment and business systems. Van fit-out is to the GATR specification; you can rent a van or provide your own. We’ll explain the vehicle arrangements during your discovery call.
What are the ongoing fees?
The financial assumptions specify an 8% royalty on aggregate sales and a separate £250 monthly ongoing-support fee. The initial franchise fee is £18,000 plus VAT. We’ll explain the full franchise agreement and investment requirements before you make a decision.
Can I grow beyond one van?
Yes. The supplied projections illustrate growth from one van in Year 1 to two in Year 2 and three in Year 3. Expansion depends on your territory, demand, staffing and business performance.
Are the projected earnings guaranteed?
No. These are indicative projections, not guaranteed earnings or personal take-home income. Profit is shown before taxation. Your results will depend on local demand, how you operate the business and your costs. The financial model will be reviewed with you as part of the enquiry process.
Who could my customers be?
Your territory can include independent and franchised car dealerships, private vehicle owners, fleet operators and insurers. There may also be opportunities with caravan dealerships, boat owners and hospitality businesses.
Can I use finance to pay for my franchise?
Finance may be available (subject to status). Government-backed Start Up Loans are unsecured personal loans for business purposes, funded by the UK Government and delivered by the Start Up Loans Company through the British Business Bank’s Start Up Loans programme. You can borrow £500–£25,000 each, up to £100,000 per business, at a fixed 7.5% per annum over one to five years. Credit checks and affordability assessments apply, and we don’t arrange or recommend credit — Curtis can explain how the funding route sits alongside your franchise agreement on your call.
